It’𝘴 etymology reveals choreography is “to write” with “dance

> to write with the body’s movement

to write in unison?

To dance is to perform

To enact

To don

To encompass a character

> an expectation

> social performance

To follow prescribed choreography is to learn

Yet to be subsumed

And even controlled

To indulge fantasy

> tell a story

> fiction/reality embodied

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player,

That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,

And then is heard no more. It is a tale

Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,

Signifying nothing.
